Gestures
Dear Marge and family,
How do I begin to describe what a wonderful doctor, Dr Zaccheo was? He delivered all 4 of my children. I remember how scared I was when I was pregnant with my first Son. Dr Zaccheo and his nurses & staff all made me feel much more comfortable! My first child was born in 1981, my 2nd in 1985, 3rd in 1988 and my last child in 1993. The first three were all natural births, however, my last child, a Son, was born via Emergency C Section on Christmas Eve. I was very scared, however, Dr Z put my mind at ease and I knew I was in good hands. After his birth, Dr Z had told me that he was going to retire. He asked if I was considering anymore children and I told him since he was retiring, I was as well, lol. He had a good laugh with that one! I will always remember his compassion, along with his staff as well. They were all very sweet and loving.
My thoughts, love and prayers to all of the family. Thank you for the gift of such a wonderful man. May he rest in peace.
To the Zaccheo Family: I read with great sadness of Dr. Zaccheo's death. Such a wonderful doctor. He was my GYN doctor and helped bring both of our children into this world. When he retired it was like I had lost a personal friend. He was always so concerned and listened to me when we discussed my health after my checkup. I will never forget what a wonderful doctor he was to me personally when I had postpartum depression after our first child. He worked with me for nine long months and finally it was over. I don't think I would have made it without him and I told him that. He told me he was glad he could help me. My deepest sympathy to all at this very sad time as you say goodbye to a very great doctor and a wonderful man. Sincerely, Elaine Ferraro
Dr, Zaccheo was the most professional, caring Doctor there ever was or is. He loved what he did, and it showed in the way he treated his patients. Thank you for being so kind. R.I.P. Dr. Zaccheo..
Dr. Zaccheo was such a kind and wonderful man. He was an amazing doctor that I had trusted him to deliver both of my children. I had lived in Orange County and would not even consider going to anyone else but him. I remember the waiting room would always be packed and the wait would sometimes be an hour or longer and that was with an appointment, but it was well worth it. I am so saddened about his passing and I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. Rest in peace Dr. Zaccheo you were a treasure to many of us.
Dr Zaccheo delivered my daughter in 1972. He told me my delivery date and I told him when I was going to have her. We joked about it as it turned out I was right.
My condolences to the family. You will be in my prayers.
Dr.Zaccheo was my Ob-Gyn and delivered my daughter, Jen, in 1980. He was a great doctor and a compassionate, religious man. I remember him riding his black motorcycle through Kingston.
He had a great sense of humor, too. He told me I was having a girl and when I asked him how he knew, he patted my tummy, gently smiled, and said: "She has a little butt."
RIP, Doc. My condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues....
