Frank C. Lange of Saugerties, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Westchester Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

He was the son of the late Louis J. and Angelina R. Lange. He was also pre-deceased by his brother-in-law, Robert (Bullhead) Harjes.

Frank was a graduate of Kingston High School and president of the DECA Club. Frank served in the Army Reserves. He was a painting contractor and general contractor, co-owner of Ulster Paint and Decorating and owner, with his wife, of the Mountainside Restaurant and Motel.

Frank belonged to a pool league, dart team, classic car club, and the Wittenberg Sportsman Club. He was a scuba diver and enjoyed diving all around the world. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He could be seen from miles away in his pride and joy, a 1957 Chevy Belair convertible or found sitting in his chair watching the Yankees, Giants or Jeopardy or on his phone or playing sudoku. He was an AMAZING husband, father, Pop-Pop, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was a prankster and full of “Dad jokes.” He was always available for whoever needed anything! He was Mr. Fixit! There wasn’t much he couldn’t fix or make with his hands!

Frank is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Buggs); daughter, Josolynn (Jos) and her fiance’ Matthew Bushey; son, Jonathon and his wife Becky; 2 granddaughters, Fiona and Isabel (the loves of his life); brother, Louie and his wife Maryellen; sister, June Ann; sister Maureen and her husband Danny; many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.

A Celebration of Frank’s life will be held at the Grace Community Church on June 13, 2025. All are invited to the family and friends reception from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. His funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm.

Anyone attending is asked to show Frank your pride by wearing your Yankee, Giants, Classic Car, or Coca-Cola attire.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Community Church, the American Heart Association or Ulster County Canines.
