Doris M. Seyfarth Obituary

Doris M. Seyfarth, 97, of Kingston, NY passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at HealthAlliance Hospital n Kingston.

She was born in East Islip, NY, moved to Kingston and prior to retirement, owned and operated Paul and Doris Luncheonette on Broadway in Kingston, with her late husband Paul. Doris was president of LWML at the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Doris is survived by a daughter, Susan L. Coddington of Kingston; two sons, David C. Seyfarth and his wife Lynne of Saugerties and Peter F. Seyfarth, Sr. and his wife Norma of Long Beach, Mississippi; Grandchildren, Kristi Oliveri and her husband Mike, Peter F. Seyfarth, Jr, and his wife Sarah, Matthew, Clara and Kristina Seyfarth; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Paul, Doris was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul W. and Margaret (Peggy) Christiana Seyfarth and a son-in-law, Joe Coddington.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 470 Hurley Avenue, Hurley, NY from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. At 12:00 noon a Service of the burial of the dead will be held. Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the church in memory of Doris would be appreciated.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kington, NY.
