Mathilda (Till) Berardi, 90, of Kingston, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, May, 9, 2026 at Ten Broeck Commons.
She was born November 2, 1935 in Kingston, NY, the youngest child of the late Raymond and Mary A.(Houghtaling) Short.
Till married Raymond L. Berardi in 1954 and was predeceased by him in 2011.
Till grew up in Kingston and graduated from Kingston High School in 1953.
Prior to retirement she was a dental assistant for Stewart L. Friedman, DDS.
Surviving is her daughter, Mary A. Berardi; her grandson, Joseph R. Berardi; many nieces and nephews.
Till was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Short Ertz, William Short and Arthur Short.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY between 11:00 am & 12:30 pm. Her funeral service will take place at 12:30 pm followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Kingston NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name be made to the Ulster County S.P.C.A, 20 Wiedy Road, Kingston, NY 12401.
