Virginia M Bruck (Wonderly), born May 29th,1950, passed away with her family by her side on Saturday June 13th, 2026. Virginia fought a very long and hard battle with Parkinson’s disease. Virginia was a sweet, loving, and joyous person. She loved her grandchildren very much. She enjoyed collecting precious moments, reading romance novels, and collecting these little knick knacks that she called “little guys” and cooking that she always said she got from her mother. Virginia was very devoted to her family. That was her favorite part of life.

Virginia worked for Grand Union for 11 ½ years until she was laid off because they were going out of business. She proceeded to work at United Cerebral Palsy where she helped people in need.

Virginia grew up in Hurley, New York where she attended Saint Ursula’s all women's Catholic School and graduated from Kingston High School.

Virginia is predeceased by her son, Shawn E Wonderly, her parents, Nicholas and Constance Bruck and her nephew Michael Bruck. She is survived by her daughter Amy Wonderly, her grandchildren Kaylyn Winne and partner Savannah Wood, Abigail Wonderly, and Matthew Wonderly, along with her sisters, Sister Patricia Bruck,of the Sisters of St. Ursula, Eleanor Bruck (O’Donnell), Kathleen Allen, and her brother Nicholas (Tom) and Carol Bruck . She is also survived by her great grandchild Torin Tunison along with her nieces and nephews Michele Bruck and children, Debbie Bruck and children, Thomas and Jen Bruck and their kids, and Michael Bruck’s children.

Virginia praised the lord every day. May the Lord let her rest peacefully. “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all of your ways, acknowledge him, and he will straighten your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6.

Family and friends that would like to pay their respects, may visit at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY between 6 pm-8 pm on Friday June 19th, 2026. Burial will take place at the Hurley Cemetery at a later date.
