Caroline Veronica Swarthout Burke, aged 59, died in Pawling on June 13th from complications from Multiple Systems Atrophy. Caroline was born in Kingston, NY on February 4th, 1967 to the late Walter F. Swarthout Sr. and Mary V. Harder Swarthout. Caroline enjoyed taking daily walks, tending to her garden, and learning about the paranormal. She is predeceased by her brothers Gerard J. Swarthout and Vincent Swarthout. She is survived by her husband Kevin M. Burke of Hibernia; daughters Savanna W. Burke of Wappingers Falls and Melody S. Burke of Clinton Corners; and her brothers Walter F. Jr. of West Hurley, Allen R. of Kingston, Kevin M. of Eddyville, Bruce E. of Kingston, and Wayne F. Swarthout of Saugerties.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24th at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral home at 261 Broadway, Kingston from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
