Richard Cosenza, 87, a life-long resident of Kingston, NY, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 21, 2026. He was born in Kingston to the late Frank and Hilda Woerner Cosenza and would have celebrated his 88th birthday in July.

While at Kingston High School he was a champion wrestler on their wrestling team.

He was a carpenter by trade, worked as a drapery installer for The Wonderly Company and a co-owner of the Shamrock.

Survivors include his wife, the former Joan Raskoskie, who he married October 24, 1959; a daughter, Paula DiGiacomo and her husband Richard of Meadville, PA and their daughters, Grace and Clare; brothers Lawrence of Kingston and Jon of Connelly.

Private cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY.
