Greg Greenberg, 19, of Hurley, New York, passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2026.

Greg was born on June 17, 2007, in Kingston, New York. He was the beloved son of Robert Greenberg and Maria Greenberg, and stepson of Leonie Greenberg.

Greg attended Kingston High School and graduated in 2025. He continued his education at Universal Technical Institute in New Jersey, where he was studying Diesel Technology. He was working toward completing the program this year, with plans to pursue his dream of enlisting in the United States Marine Corps.

Greg was a kind, funny, caring, adventurous, outgoing, and hardworking young man. He had a genuine personality and a natural ability to make those around him smile and laugh. His energy, sense of humor, and joyful spirit brought fun wherever he went, and his presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Greg loved adventure and the outdoors. He enjoyed snowboarding, hiking, cliff diving, e-biking, photography, music, gaming, and spending time outside. He especially loved cars, and what began as an interest grew into a true passion. His love of mechanics helped shape the future he was working toward.

Greg will be remembered for his unforgettable smile, quick sense of humor, adventurous spirit, and, most of all, for being genuine and completely himself. He lived life with curiosity and enthusiasm and created countless memories with the people around him that will be treasured forever.

Greg leaves behind his father, Robert Greenberg; his mother, Maria Greenberg; his stepmother, Leonie Greenberg; his half-sister, Zoey Greenberg; his uncle, Craig Greenberg; his grandmother, Phyllis Greenberg; and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Although Greg’s life was far too short, he filled his years with experiences, dreams, laughter, adventure, and love. The memories he created and the joy he brought into the lives of others will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Greg will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm followed by burial in the Hurley Cemetery, 69–91 Zandhoek Road, Hurley, NY 12443
