Joseph Reynolds, Jr., 65, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born in Kingston, New York, Joe was the son of the late Joseph Reynolds, Sr. and Patricia "Patsy" (Gallagher) Reynolds. He worked for the Kingston City School District for many years before retiring and moving to Amsterdam. The oldest of five children, Joe was a loving presence in his family throughout his life. He had a gift with children and a laugh that carried across a room and drew everyone in. He was a lifelong and unapologetic Snoopy fan, and anyone who knew him knew it. Joe is survived by his sister, Kathleen Porter, and her husband, Mark, of Kingston; and his three brothers, T.J. Reynolds of Key West, Florida; Kevin Reynolds and his wife, Maura, of Monroe, New York; and Peter Reynolds and his wife, Mary, of Southampton, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Kingston on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
