Obituary of Joseph R. Bruck

Joseph R. Bruck, 78, of Connelly, NY passed away at home Sunday evening, January 10, 2021. Joe was born in Kingston, NY and was one of ten children born to the late Harry J. and Ethel (Krum) Bruck. He enjoyed Hunting, Bowling ,Golfing and being a member of Sons of the American Legion, Kingston Post #150. He was retired from St. Mary’s Cemetery in Kingston. Joe is survived by his wife, the former Georgia Dixon; a son, Mark D. Bruck of Kingston; a step-daughter, Kerrie Kearney of Kingston; a sister, Regina LaConture of the Town of Ulster; a brother, Gerald J. Bruck and his wife Esther of Kingston; step-grandchildren, Shawna Smith, Ryan Kearney, Ashton Kearney and Philip Kearney; a step great-grandchild, HarleyRey Smith; several nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Betkowski, Patricia J. Bruck, Theresa Joan Huber, Mary Margaret McHugh, Harry Bruce Bruck, Edward R. Bruck and Ronald J. Bruck. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY. His funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial is scheduled to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In the interest of public safety, and in keeping with COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing and masks are required at all times and guests will be limited at the funeral home and cemetery.
