Obituary of Catherine M. Schupp

Catherine M. Schupp, 85, of Second Avenue, passed away Monday morning, January 26, 2015 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. Born in Kingston, April 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Bartolo J. and Theresa A. (Berardi) Berinato, Sr. Catherine was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Schupp, who died October 13, 2004. Catherine was an active member of St. Peter's Church where she belonged to the Couple's Club, Mother's Club and the Altar Rosary Society. She loved traveling with her friends, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and playing golf. Prior to retirement she worked as a bookkeeper for Vincent P. Berardi Fuel & Gas. Catherine is survived by daughters, Betty Gilpatric and her husband James P., Cathy Boyce and her husband Donald and Susan Suppies and her husband Matthew; son, Kenneth Robert Schupp, Jr. and his wife Kathy, all of Kingston; Grandchildren, Christi Wills, Kaitlin, Michael and Nicholas Schupp, Bethany and Zachary Boyce and Kyle Suppies; Great Grandson, Conner Wills; Brother, Bartolo John Berinato, Jr. and his wife Bunny of New Port Richey, FL. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 5:00 -8:00 pm at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway. Kingston, NY. Funeral procession will form 9:15 am on Friday at the funeral home and proceed to St. Peter's Church where at 10:00 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be sung.
