Although circumstances separated me at birth from my family, the miracle of DNA enabled me to find my sister, Joanne, a few years ago. She welcomed me and helped me discover who I truly am. Although our time together was short, it seems as if I have always known her. Another miracle, modern technology, allowed me to have a final video call with her in the hospital and tell her how much I love her and thank her for everything she shared about my family. Rest in peace, dear sister, I will cherish our time together forever.
