Skip you were always there when I needed help with one thing or another. You freely lent me your tools and knowledge, at the same time would bust my chops while making me smile. I am going to deeply miss that. I caused all sorts of ruckus over the years around the house with Shawn and you still didn’t mind me coming around. It feels like yesterday you poured the slab in my parents basement and I got to ride my bike through the puddles. You are a great friend and I’ll never forget you.
Keep watch over us, you know we need it.

I can’t even count the number of DIY projects at my house that Skip generously dropped by for to offer some pointers. He always made sure our projects didn’t turn into disasters. Skip was a beautiful, kind soul who loved his family. He was also the kind of person who I could call in the middle of the day on a random weekday in freezing cold January to save the day and scoop me and all my kids up off the side of the road when my car broke down. May God hold you in the hollow of his hand. Thanks for everything.
