Pearl was a true highlight of growing up on Route 28a. She showed so much care and interest in the unfolding of our lives, and expressed great confidence in me personally at a time when I needed it most. I have missed her presence as of late, but I rejoice more in the sweet memories of her voice, her wit, her mystery and her style!
