Gloria Jean Sottile, 80, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at Golden Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident for several years. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Theresa Desco Sottile. In addition to her parents, Gloria was predeceased by a baby brother. A lifelong resident of this area, she lived in Port Ewen for many years with her parents then on Washington Avenue in Kingston before moving to Golden Hill. She was a graduate of Kingston High School and had been employed at Ferroxcube in her younger years. Gloria is survived by several cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 11:00 am. The Reverend John Kearney will officiate. Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery where she will be reunited with her parents.
