Obituary of Alice Marie Bouck Faurote

Alice Marie Bouck Faurote of Bartow, GA., age 88, passed away on March 2, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born on March 16, 1934 in West Hurley, NY. She was a daughter of Virgil and Bridget Ellen Bouck. Alice was one of ten children. She attended St. Joseph’s School and had been employed by Spiesman’s Bakery in Kingston. After moving to Florida in 1974, she was employed and retired from Publix Supermarket (Deli). After retirement she and her husband opened Alice and Lloyd’s Bakery in Palmetto, FL. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Faurote, of 55 years and an infant daughter, Sara Ann; Siblings, Josephine Erck, Elizabeth Smith, Dionia Perry, Frederick J., George, John S., Vincent L. and Lawrence F. Bouck. Alice is survived by her loving sister, Irene Kahrs of Clifton Park, NY; four daughters, Dorothy Wittek and son-in-law, Stephen, of Ballston Spa, NY; Ellen Miller and son-in-law Henry of Port Ewen, NY; Cindy Boyd and son-in-law Albert Short, Jr. of Mesa, AZ; Patricia Weaver and son-in-law Clois of Bartow, GA.; ten grandchildren, Henry Miller,Jr., Stephen Wittek, Heidi Huleh, Alissa Weaver, Shauna Clark, Boe Weaver, Christopher Boyd, Jr., Kallie Weaver, Kenneth Miller and Sara Rooney; 20 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Her funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home with burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
