Dorothy Ann "Dot" Baker Obituary

Dorothy Ann Baker, born January 13th, 1925 in Doyles Mills, Pennsylvania, was 98 3/4 “as she would say” died peacefully on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 at her home in Kingston, New York surrounded by her three daughters and family members.

She had a long, full and wonderful life. She was loved by everyone she met.

Dot was an avid quilter and last year won "Best of Show". She loved to play bingo, garden, cook, bake, play the piano and dance.

Surviving are her three daughters Yvonne Baker-Carini and her partner Skip Alford, Lorraine Baker, Wendi Baker- Breitrose and her husband Howard Breitrose; two grand children Erica Peterson and Kristian Carini and his wife Margaret Carini; four great grandchildren Levi Peterson, Tory Peterson, Kalyssa Carini, and Kylan Carini; previous son-in-law Charles Carini and his wife Laura Carini.

Dot was preceded in death by her husband, LT (Larry) Baker. They both dedicated their lives to working at the Pioneer Youth Camp/Goddard Riverside in Rifton, NY.

Donations can be made to Hudson Valley Hospice, 153 Sawkill Road, Kingston New York, 12401 in memory of Dorothy Ann Baker.

A private funeral service was held at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY with burial in St. Remy Rural Cemetery.
