Joan H. Gordon, 88, of West Hurley, NY passed away at HealthAlliance Hospital, Mary’s Avenue in Kingston on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

She was born in Kingston, July 7, 1935, to the late Leo W. and Mary E. Gordon. Prior to retirement she was an EEG Technician at the Benedictine Hospital.

Joan’s nieces and nephews include: her niece, Diane McDowell and her husband Al, Mary Kay Erickson, wife of Joan’s late nephew, Jim Erickson, Christine Gordon, wife of Joan’s late nephew, David Gordon and fiancé of Scot Hasbrouck, Joan’s nephew, Paul Gordon and his wife Roxanne, Kathy Gordon, wife of Joan’s late nephew, Marty Gordon, .

Her great nieces and nephews include; Justin Gordon and his wife Lauren, Scot Hasbrouck, Jr., Carissa Gordon-Gump and her husband Jason; Joan’s late niece, Jennifer M. Gordon-Christiano and Joan’s beloved cat, Zoey.

Joan was also preceded in death by a sister, Terry R. Erickson and her husband Joseph and a brother Leo G. Gordon and his wife Anne.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, January 25, 2024 between 4:00 and 7:00 pm at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY. Her funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm by Reverend Jay Yoon, Pastor of the Saugerties United Methodist Church. Burial will be held at the Hurley Cemetery on Friday at 11:30 am.
