Obituary of Joann Tomaszewski Perry

Joann Tomaszewski Perry, 58, of Kingston, NY passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at HealthAlliance Hospital Hospice, Mary's Avenue Campus, Kingston, NY. Born in Kingston, September 11, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Rita M. (Wenzel) Tomaszewski. In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Perry and her father-in-law, Arthur John Perry, Sr. (Flint). Joann will be remembered as a kind hearted wife and sister who enjoyed spending time with her -family. She had a 40 year career with United Health Care as a claims adjuster and was a NY Yankees fan. Joann married Joseph B, Perry on May 23, 1987 at the Immaculate Conception Church. In addition to her husband of 27 years, she is survived by brothers, Joseph P. Tomaszewski and his wife Anita of Staatsburg and Peter F. Tomaszewski and his wife Helene of Boise, Idaho; sisters, Nancy Perry and Kathleen Tomaszewski both of Kingston, her mother-in-law, Dionia Catherine Bouck Perry of Rhinebeck; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Arthur J. Perry, Jr. and Vincent J. Perry both of Kingston, Sean Patrick Perry of West Shokan, Frederick F. Perry and his wife Janelle of Shokan, Donna Perry of Accord, Ann Lynn Cahill and her husband Christopher and Bridget E. Curry and her husband Dale, all of Port Charlotte, FL, Bernadette Rode and her husband Paul of Marbletown, Ursula Scheffel and her husband Bud of Shokan and Mark Perry of Kingston; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephew and friends. Family and friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY. Funeral procession will form 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home thence proceed to the Immaculate Conception Church where at 11:00 am a mass of Christian Burial will be sung. Burial to follow in mt. Calvary Cemetery.
