Obituary of Stanley J. Woinoski

Stanley J. Woinoski, 79, formerly of Kingston ,NY passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at ArchCare at Ferncliff Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Rhinebeck, NY. Born in Kingston, NY September 15, 1934, he was one of five sons born to the late Frank J. and Matilda (Longtoe) Woinoski. Stan was a graduate of Kingston High School and a member of the White Eagle Benevolent Society. After serving his country in the US Army he returned to Kingston where he retired from the US Postal Service following a 34 year career. Survivors include sons, Bruce L. Woinoski of Port Ewen, NY and Mark J. Woinoski and his wife Tina of Stone Ridge, NY; a daughter, Nadine M. Woinoski of Port Charlette, FL; brothers, Anthony P. Woinoski and his wife Anne of Hurley, NY. Albert J. Woinoski of Roxbury and Paul A. Woinoski and his wife Mary of Cartersville, GA; nieces and nephews. Stan was preceded in death by his former wife of 26 years, Nadine F. (Fuller) Woinoski and a brother, Frank J. Woinoski, Jr. Stan will be accompanied by the American Legion Riders to Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY where a service will be held on Monday at 1:30 pm prior to inurnment in the columbarium.. There will be a remembrance gathering in September. Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, Inc., 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY.
