Obituary of Paul W. Seyfarth

Paul W. Seyfarth, 65, of Kingston, NY died at Albany Medical Center Wednesday, April 2, 2014, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on March 19, 2014. Born in Bay Shore, LI, NY, December 19, 1948, Paul was a son of Doris M. (Schweter) Seyfarth of Kingston and the late Paul K. Seyfarth. He was a graduate of Islip High School, attended Suffolk and Ulster County Community Colleges. Paul married Margaret (Peggy) E. Christiana on May 8, 1971 who preceded him in death on March 19, 2014. They both were active member of the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church and both worked at Hannaford in the Town of Ulster store, owned and operated P&P Handi Service. In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by a sister, Susan L. Coddington of Kingston; brothers, David C. Seyfarth and his wife Lynne of Saugerties and Peter F. Seyfarth, Sr. and his wife Norma of Gulfport, MI; nieces and nephews, Kristi Tomczyk and her husband Craig, Peter F. Seyfarth. Jr. and his wife Sarah, Matthew, Clara and Kristina Seyfarth and Heather Christiana; brother-in-law, Ken Christiana and his wife Mary of Olivebridge; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston, NY. Service of the Burial of the Dead will be held 11:00 am Monday at the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 470 Hurley Avenue, Hurley, NY with Reverend Woody Mather officiating .Burial will be at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory to the church would be appreciated.
