Obituary of Margaret E. Seyfarth

Margaret "Peggy" E. Seyfarth, 64, of Kingston, NY died at Albany Medical Center on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Kingston, March 3, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Mary F. (VanWagenen) Christiana. Peggy married Paul W. Seyfarth on May 8, 1971. They were active members of the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked at Hannaford in the Town of Ulster store. In addition to her husband, Peggy is survived by a brother, Ken Christiana and his wife Mary of Olivebridge; her mother-in-law, Doris Seyfarth of Kingston; sister-in-law, Susan L. Coddington of Kingston; brothers-in-law, David C. Seyfarth and his wife Lynne of Saugerties and Peter F. Seyfarth, Sr. and his wife Norma of Gulfport, Mississippi; nieces and nephews, Kristi Tomczyk and her husband Craig, Peter F. Seyfarth, Jr. and his wife Sarah, Matthew, Clara and Kristina Seyfarth and Heather Christiana; cousins, Mike and Rosemary Brown of High Falls and many friends. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Monday, AprilL 7, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 470 Hurley Avenue, Hurley, NY. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Stone Ridge, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church in Peggy's name would be appreciated.
