Dorene Ann (Kiernan) Wang, 71, of Kingston passed from this life Wednesday, April 15, 2015 after a 20 year battle with a terminal illness. She was born in Kingston, June 7, 1943 to the late Joseph Francis Kiernan and Irene Anna Perry and was raised by her mother and Arthur Bannen. Dorene is survived by daughters, Robin Sorensen and Wendy Sorensen and her partner Donald Mattia; sister, Lorraine Canty and her husband Lenny; grandchildren, Patrick and Brittany McGowan and Ashley McGuire; aunts, Agnes Brown, Dorothy Donovan, Mary Berardi and Helen Williams; nieces, Melinda and Kim Angstrom; nephew, Kevin Canty. In addition to the above, Dorene will also be missed by her cousins, family, health care workers and friends. At Dorene's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
