I am so sorry to hear about Mary. I remember her when I was young and we would go over to the "Toogoods" house every Halloween. When Mary was there, although she was older, she would always play with me-even though she likely had better things to do. She had a kind heart and a good soul. I am so sorry Anne. The tears fall so hard because you were the most special friend anyone could ask for. We shared every emotion possible together and that is what I keep with me to keep you near. Now Mary, you can be our shining light up in heaven. I will miss you coming "across the road" to see us in the GI suite and your bright smile. I will also miss all the advise for how to prepare my vegetables. I brought the basil plant inside so it can survive the cold weather. Thanks for the two pennies you left for me on the rugs at the back entrance to the office yesterday. You will forever be in my heart. It was an honor to work with you and be your friend.

So sorry to friends and family of Mary Edwards! I was shocked to hear of her death. I first met Mary in 3rd grade at the Greenfield Elementary school. We became close friends again in high school. She was in my wedding. While we have not seen each other in many years, I still consider her one of my life-long friends. I have some photos from our high school days in Greenfield but of course I can't find them. I found them the other day and didn't have the foresight to put them someplace safe. Just shows how we live our lives, day-to-day assuming things will always be the same. We assume we will always have tomorrow to take care of this or take care of that or let the people we love know how much we care. Well tomorrow is not guaranteed. Let your life long friends, your family, your co-workers and classmates know what they mean to you. Don't hold grudges, forgive; Mary lived by that philosophy. Love you Mary <3
