Rena and I had many many laughs at "Seltzer Club" during her free period. We talked, cried, laughed and enjoyed our friendship. I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could have attended her memorial service. I wanted to meet her brothers, she spoke so fondly of and would love to have seen Alyssa and Fritz. Rena touched many lives and hopefully you all will find some comfort in knowing how much she was loved.
A life ended too soon, she will be missed and her memory will remain with me forever. Good times never forgotten.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Rena's passing. I had the pleasure to work with Rena at Rhinebeck CSD. She always greeted me with a smile in the school hallways and her laugh was contagious. I'm sorry for this loss. Rena was a fun, wonderful, and beautiful woman. I knew her for a few years when she lived in Stony Run; she was like my best friend. I could go to her for anything. Me being 18 years old now, she still taught me a lot for the whole I've known her. I love her children and I loved Rena so much. My heart is heavy to hear this. I have so many beautiful memories of stopping in your office with Megan, Lina and the rest of the girls (your favorites, of course ;) ). Through tears and laughter, you helped us survive our high school years. You listened to all of our drama.. And there was A LOT. You will be missed greatly.

I had the pleasure of knowing Rena while attending Rhinebeck High. She took me and three other girls to Albany for a women's leadership conference. Rena loved life, believed in the power of ones voice and pushed her students. She was in love with her children always talking about how proud she was of them.
