Obituary of Eugene A. Carpino

Eugene A. Carpino, 82, of Kingston, NY passed away Sunday morning, October 9, 2016 at HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston. He was born May 30, 1934, a son of the late Thomas and Theresa (Gallo) Carpino. Eugene proudly served his country during the Korean War as a U.S. Marine. He was a member of Joyce-Schirick Post #1386, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Teamsters local #445 for decades. He enjoyed watching football, baseball, DWTS and took pride in his 2 acres of property, spending countless hours doing yard work. His biggest love was for his many pets he and his wife have cared for over the last 40 years. Eugene is survived by his wife, Judith (Coons) Carpino formerly of Red Hook, NY; His children, Brenda Michalowski , IL, Tom Carpino (wife Donna), IL, Frank Carpino (wife Joy), WA, and Jodie Johnson (husband Jim) AZ & Wi.; grandfather, great grandfather and uncle to many. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph and Thomas Carpino, Jr.; sisters, Dolores Pitts, Joan Cercone, Marlene Schatzel and Linda Carpino; his first wife, Viola (Misasi) Carpino and grandson, Michael Michalowski. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17. 2016 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at the Henry J Bruck Funeral Home, 261 Broadway, Kingston with a memorial service at 4:30 pm to celebrate the life of Eugene.
