One of my introductions to the C.I.A. was a class titled, Introduction to Gastronomy. It has been thirteen years since I graduated, and professor Chalmers’ stories, her vibrant, energetic, goofy, beautiful way of articulating the world of culinary arts continues to make me giggle and smile and cook! The world of gastronomy through professor Chalmers’ eyes was a wonder! I am so lucky to have met this joyful woman.
