Oh Paula,
Marla and I are so sad to hear the news of Esther’s passing. She was so sweet and kind. What an extraordinary woman your Mom was! I loved reading about her and all her accomplishments. Thank you so much for sending this to me. She must have been very proficient at Morse code, and had things very orderly, which made her get so many kudos, awards, notoriety, and profound tasks completed.
I wish I could have known her better. She is a great example to all of our members, and those of us who are Mothers.

I’m so very sorry to hear of Esther's passing. I just told Ken yesterday that I need to call you to see how you all were doing.
Esther was a dear friend. I learned so much from her in the time we spent together. We had so much fun with Stone House Days. Even Ken enjoyed being part of the event. I have to say that it’s one of the highlights of my life, and Esther a very memorable friend. I can’t imagine how many Deyo relatives and ancestors will be meeting her in Heaven. Dear Paula & Peter,
Our prayers are with you this day.
I loved visiting with you, Paula and your brothers the one summer I flew up to stay with your whole family. My Auntie Ester did so much to take care of me and yourself while we hung out together. I have so many fond memories of our summer.
Aunt Essie was a kind and loving woman. She was always allowing family members to move in with her family. She loved taking care of others.
