I would like to send my condolences to the Gorsline family. Bob was not just an uncle but a good friend. He was my favorite uncle. We talked a lot about baseball and his experiences when I was a kid and later when I grew up. I remember his smile and his laugh. I remember when I was playing college ball near Kingston and stayed overnight. Looking for a ride back to to Oneonta, Bob wouldn’t hear of me taking a bus back. He drove me back. He was always a positive individual and I will miss him.

I have so many wonderful memories of my grandpa. I loved following him in the garden. He took us on my first ever trip to Florida and Disney world. He made peanut butter and butter sandwiches (neither were really spread). He always yelled at us to put something on our feet. He went on a motion ride with me (Nack to the Future at Universal) and he had to choose his eyes and hold on for dear life. He showed me how to use s computer for the first time. There is just an abundance of wonderful memories. I love him and will miss him dearly. I know he's with grandma in heaven but he will be missed here.

Bob was both my neighbor and my friend. From his near-constant perch on his front porch, I could always count on a smile and a wave, as could anyone else who happened to be passing by. Bob loved celebrating his birthday. He called it his “special day”. He also loved chocolate, so I made sure I kept a supply of birthday cards and chocolate bars on hand. I will miss him.
