Bernie was one of the best men I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will miss him, his joke of the day was always great. Every morning I got to talk to Bernie, he always said its a beautiful day, no matter what the weather was, I always responded everyday Bernie because he truly thought every day was a beautiful day. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Uncle Bernie was always such a bright, shining spirit. He was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. I wish I was able to be back there with my family at this time, but I am there in spirit with all of you. All my love and giant hugs to you!!!! Love, Susan Mellert
