MaryAnn has been my angel for a long time. She has been my sister-in-law, my friend, my rock in times of sorrow and the special family planner that we all appreciated throughout the years of holidays and camping trips. We have both told each other many times that we don't know what we would do if we didn't have each other. I pray that I will be able to carry her love and her spirit with me always. She was so important to me that I don't have the words to express how deeply saddened I am about the loss of MaryAnn from my life here on earth. She has been able to re-join her departed family in heaven now. I am sure my dearly departed husband Christopher who was also MaryAnn's baby brother was there to bring her to the other side. I miss them both so much. I am grateful for the times we shared and honored to be a part of MaryAnn's family. They are all so special to me. God bless MaryAnn. You can rest now and be at peace.

Dear Ed, Bonnie & Dave,
Mary Ann was such a giving, caring, loyal person, We met when our kids were 4 and enjoyed many outings together. Once you became Mary Ann's friend, you were a friend for life. For a number of years, our paths seldom crossed, but she always made sure to get together once a year. I was so blessed to have her friendship. Her passing leaves a void in all our hearts. We were all blessed to have had Mary Ann in our lives. My heartfelt sympathy to you all and the family.

I was blessed to have her as a teacher (more than 20 years ago at this point!) and remember her very fondly. She taught lessons that have stayed with me through the years. My heart goes out to her friends and family in this time of loss.

The very best of us. A woman with a heart big enough for everyone and she shared it happily. This is the sister I always wanted to grow up to be as good as and never quite made it. Someone who gave from the heart to everyone she knew and made everyone's life a little better just for knowing her.

I send my deepest sympathies at this time of great loss. In addition to the many years of comradery and good times at Onteora, Mary Ann was an exemplar of the highest caliber and compassion. I also had the good fortune to see her monthly for the last fourteen years during our Onteora Readers Club meetings. Her insight, wit and suggestions for
reading enriched all those around her. We would meet in a restaurant themed to match the book we had read. If we were meeting across the river, Mary Ann always asked us if we would like to travel together - we would all pile in her van and off we went - and it meant some extra time together. I send love and prayers to the family Mary Ann spoke about with such warmth. Rest peacefully, May Ann. No one can fill your seat.

MaryAnn was a special person in my life and in the lives of countless colleagues and students. She put others ahead of herself giving 110% to everything she did. The world became a nicer place because she was born and a sadder one now that she has gone. I will miss my dear friend, colleague, and mentor.
