My heart is heavy with the loss of your mom...and Barbara's best friend...Rose has been a light in my life since a little girl at the Polish church, then an amazing mentor as a nurse at Kingston Hospital..She taught so many of us nursing tips as well as compassion , love and Always kindness and always treated everyone with the dignity we all deserve... She is so special... not was, because in heaven , she still will be the angel and prayer keeper to so many of us...And I know she listens, because she always does... My admiration and love for her courage and energy had me name my youngest daughter after her... And I am so proud of her, she too loves her namesake..And I told them both, every Rose I know would shine and bloom ... just like Rosie Woods does!
And I will always see and hear that beautiful woman laugh!! Thank you Rose for loving so many of us...you deserve your time to rest in heaven but you will be so missed...

I am so sad to hear the news of Rosie's passing. I have known her for the last 18 years as a volunteer for HAHV. She was a gift made of grace with a great sense of humor. I will miss her stories. She will truly be missed at the hospital.

God bless Rose! Her devotion, hard work and endearing smile were an inspiration. At the Divine Mercy Chapel only a week or two before her death, Rose joked about how she couldn't convince "them" ( God and His holy ones) to take her to them. Now she can rejoice in her journey's completion!

Rose will be so missed. The 5 or so years I spent renting from her and Joe on First Ave., while in nursing school and then working at Benedictine, was like home to me.
I will always treasure the times since moving to NH that I was able to stop by and just have a cup of tea and catch up with Rose. I will always be sorry that I did not have "just one more visit" but will come to sit at Calvary as I have with Joe since his passing. They were both such lights to me and my thoughts are with her family and friends for this loss.
There is such a blessing in knowing that as she took God's hand she was surrounded by what she loved and I am sure she had no fear. Her beautiful Mother Mary was also certainly with her, and what a lovely thought to know she passed into Mary's arms the week we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
As her husband Joe would likely say " Luck of the Irish, to now be reunited with my beautiful Polish girl!" Only love for Rosie...all family and friends who loved her were greatly blessed and my prayers are with you all.
